Kalindee Rail Nirman (E) Ltd is situated at 126, Avtar Enclave, in the Paschim Vihar area of New Delhi. This part of Delhi is quite busy, and being in the enclave gives us a bit of a base to work from. We focus on railway construction and engineering tasks. It’s the kind of work that doesn't leave much room for errors, so we spend a lot of time on the details. Our office isn't fancy. It is a place for us to meet, go over the numbers, and plan out the next steps for whatever rail project we are currently handling. We have a small group of people who know their way around a construction site. Most of our days are spent out of the office anyway. We deal with the realities of Delhi traffic and the logistics of moving heavy equipment and materials across the city. It’s not a polished corporate environment here. There are usually piles of paper and bits of technical gear lying around the office. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress people with fancy brochures. If there’s a problem with a project, we just sit down and figure out how to fix it. That is the way we have always operated. It is a very hands-on business. We value the guys who actually do the work on the tracks more than anyone in a suit. We just keep our heads down and make sure the job is done right.
