Kadam Se Kadam Foundation

Our spot is in Prem Nagar, which is part of Janakpuri. The address is 4/3 and 4/3A, on the second floor of a double-story building. It is a residential-feeling area, so you see a lot of neighbors drying clothes or talking on their balconies while we work. Kadam Se Kadam Foundation is just a small operation. We have a couple of rooms where we keep all our supplies and records. It is not very modern, but it works for what we need. The light in the front room is actually quite nice in the mornings. We usually start around nine and keep going until the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late if there is a big project, and the street gets really quiet then. There is a small grocery shop nearby where we get our biscuits and chai. The stairs are a bit narrow, so moving furniture in was a real pain. We have some old wooden chairs and a big table where we sit and plan things out. It is not a fancy corporate office with glass walls. It feels more like a home that turned into a workspace. We like it that way because it is comfortable. Janakpuri is a big place, but our little corner of Prem Nagar feels like its own small village sometimes. We know the people around here and they know us. We just keep our heads down and do our bit from this second-floor flat. It is a simple life.
