Jv Of Puri Consts& Emmaar Of Dubai

Our office is tucked away at 1040, Vikas Kunj in Vikaspuri, New Delhi. It’s a bit of a mouthful, the name Jv Of Puri Consts& Emmaar Of Dubai, but it just means we are working together on some building projects. New Delhi is always dusty and loud with construction anyway, so we fit right in. We spend a lot of time looking at papers and maps of the city. There are usually a few of us sitting around a big table with tea, trying to figure out the schedule for the next week. It’s a lot of coordination between different people and places. Sometimes things don't go according to plan because the trucks are late or the weather in Delhi gets too extreme to work outside. We don’t try to act like we are some huge corporate machine. We are just people in an office trying to get these buildings finished. The 110018 area is where we spend most of our daylight hours. We’ve got a lot of files stacked up on the desks. It’s practical work. We talk to contractors, check on materials, and try to keep the noise down for the neighbors when we can. It’s a job like any other. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks, some chairs, and a lot of work to do before the sun goes set. It keeps us busy and off the streets.
