West Patel Nagar is quite busy. We’re on the first floor at 22/44. It’s a bit of an old building but it works for us. We spend most of our mornings dealing with paperwork and checking on shipments. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is the highlight of the afternoon when things get a bit slow. Being in Delhi-West means there is always noise outside, people shouting or cars honking, but we have gotten used to it. We aren't a big fancy firm with glass walls. It is just a few of us here making sure the export and import tasks are handled right. We keep our files organized on some old wooden desks. If you walk down the street, you see a lot of other small shops. The address says 110008, which is home for us during the day. We don't really do big meetings. Most stuff is just phone calls and emails. Some days the internet acts up because of the overhead wires in the alley, so we just wait it out. It is a simple life here. We focus on getting the work done without much fuss. If someone visits, they might find us arguing over where to order lunch from. We try to keep things moving. It isn't always perfect, but we show up every day and do what needs to be done. Jijivisha Exim Llp is just our small operation here in West Patel Nagar, and we like it that way.
