Jayant Impex

Jayant Impex is situated at B-16 in the Community Centre of Janakpuri. This area is always buzzing with people because of all the different offices and shops crammed into the centre. We’ve been operating from this particular office for a good number of years. It’s a standard commercial space, with the usual sounds of fans whirring and people talking on phones. Working in a community centre means you get to know the neighbors, from the guy who runs the photocopy shop to the people at the bank nearby. Our daily work involves a lot of import and export logistics, so there’s always a stack of documents on someone’s desk and someone else talking to a shipping agent. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. The stairs in the building are a bit steep, and the elevator doesn't always work like it should, but we don’t mind much. Janakpuri is a large residential area too, so many of us live close by, which makes the commute easier. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; we just handle our clients and make sure the goods move from one place to another without too many delays. The office is a bit cramped with all the files we have to keep, but it’s our space and we’ve made it work for a long time now.
