People in Janakpuri usually know the Jyoti Shikhar Building. We have a small office at 412 A, and that’s where we run Jay Kay Cargo Services from. We aren't some massive company with hundreds of trucks. It’s just us here, moving boxes and packages from one place to another. Most days are spent handling paperwork and making sure things are packed well so they don’t get damaged. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change. It’s a lot of work, and the traffic around here doesn't make it any easier. Sometimes a delivery is late because of a jam on the main road, but we stay until everything is sorted. We handle all kinds of things, from small envelopes to heavy crates. We don’t have a fancy lobby for customers to sit in. You just walk in, drop off your stuff, and we take care of it. It’s honest, practical work. My nephew helps out sometimes when it gets really busy. We aren't trying to be the biggest cargo firm in Delhi. We just want to do right by the people who trust us with their goods. It’s a bit dusty in the office with all the boxes, but that’s how it goes in this business. We know the regular faces who come in, and that makes the days go by faster. We just keep at it, day after day.
