Jain Clinic

If you go to the DDA Market in Paschim Vihar, you’ll find Jain Clinic at Shop No 8A4. It’s a small space, like most of the shops in this part of Delhi. Being in a DDA market means there is always something going on outside. People are always rushing past to get groceries or snacks. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now. The clinic isn't very large, so if there are more than five people waiting, it starts feeling very full. We have a few benches for sitting and a desk where we keep the records. It’s a very local vibe. Most of our patients live in the nearby blocks and just walk over. We see everything from common colds to minor injuries. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to shut down for a day to get it done. We open up early and stay until the last person is seen, which sometimes means late evenings. The sounds of the market are part of our day. You can hear the street vendors and the cars looking for parking. It’s just a regular neighborhood clinic where people come because it’s convenient and they know us. We don’t try to be anything fancy. It’s just a place to get checked out. Delhi life is fast but we try to keep things steady for the people who visit.
