It is basically a residential apartment that we have converted into our office space. It makes for a much more relaxed atmosphere than being in a downtown office block. We do advisory work, which means we spend most of our time looking at spreadsheets, reading through legal documents, and talking to clients on the phone. Being in New Delhi, we are used to the noise and the constant activity of the city, but inside the apartment, it stays relatively calm. We have stacks of files everywhere because there is always so much paperwork involved in what we do. It is just a few of us here, and we don't really follow a strict corporate dress code or anything like that. We prefer to keep things professional but approachable. Sometimes we have meetings in the living room area if the main table is covered in folders. It’s a bit informal, but it works for us and our clients don't seem to mind.
