Hundred Octane

We are tucked away on the top floor at J-7/84 in Rajouri Garden. It’s a bit of a climb since there’s no lift, so we all get our exercise just coming into work every morning. Once you get up here, it’s actually pretty decent. You can see over the rooftops of the neighborhood, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the screen. Hundred Octane is just a few of us in a small space. We’ve got some desks shoved together and a lot of cords running across the floor. Rajouri Garden is a lively place, so there’s always something going on downstairs. We can hear the street vendors and the cars honking if we leave the windows open. Sometimes we go down for tea in the afternoon just to get out of the office for fifteen minutes. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work for what we need. We don't have a sign outside that lights up or anything fancy like that. Most people just know where we are by the address. We handle our day-to-day tasks without much fuss. If someone calls, they usually talk to whoever is closest to the phone. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, though we do get focused when a big project is due. We’ve been here for a bit now and the landlord is alright, which helps. It’s just a regular office in a busy part of Delhi where we do our thing.
