We are based at 297, Ward No 15, in Hariya Nagar, right on the main road. Being on the main road means we get a lot of noise from the buses and bikes passing by, but it also makes it easy for our staff to find us when they come in for their shifts. We provide nursing and medical services that mostly happen at people’s houses, so our office is really more of a hub where we coordinate everything. There is a big whiteboard on the wall where we keep track of who is going where and at what time. It’s a bit of a messy board with names crossed out and notes scribbled in the margins. We have a few desks with some old computers that we use to keep the records updated. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s completely quiet for an hour. We have a small area where the nurses can sit and have their lunch before heading out again. The flooring is a bit worn out from all the foot traffic, and the paint on the walls could probably use a touch-up, but it doesn’t really matter for what we do. It’s an honest living, and we just try to keep things organized so that everyone gets where they need to be on time. We’ve been in this spot in Hariya Nagar for some time now and know the area well.
