Our business, Hitco Electricals Pvt Ltd, is based at 54/C-3 in the Rama Road Indl. Area. This part of town is always full of trucks and people moving things around. We do electrical work here, mostly manufacturing parts and pieces that go into bigger systems. The building itself is just a regular industrial unit, nothing special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze with all the wires and components we have stored. We start early in the morning and usually keep going until late. It's not the kind of job where you sit at a desk all day. We are on our feet, working with our hands. The tea stall nearby is where we usually catch a break. We don't go in for big mission statements or anything like that. We just have work to do and we do it. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we have to wait around, which is frustrating, but it’s just part of being here. We have a steady group of workers who have been with us for a long time. People around Rama Road know where we are. We don't do much advertising because most of our work comes from people who already know us. It’s a simple operation, really. We just try to keep things organized and get the parts out to the people who need them. It’s just a job like any other.
