Over at 54/C-3 in the Rama Road Industrial Area, our daily routine is pretty much tied to the sounds of the factory floor. We deal with industrial electrical components, so there’s a lot of heavy metal and specialized equipment lying around. It isn’t the kind of place you’d visit for a casual stroll. It’s an industrial zone, and it feels like it. There’s usually a lot of noise from the nearby units and the sound of delivery trucks backing up. We spend our time checking specs on heaters and other electrical parts, making sure everything is built according to the drawings we have on the clipboards. The office part of the building is small and tucked into a corner, and it’s always filled with catalogs and technical manuals. We drink a lot of tea to get through the afternoon slump. It’s a practical business. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or decor because the work happens out where the tools are. We’ve seen the Rama Road area change a lot over the years, with new businesses moving in and old ones leaving, but we’ve stayed right here doing what we do. It’s a lot of hard work and technical details, and we just try to keep the production moving so we don't fall behind on our schedules. It’s not always easy, but we get the job done.
