Hirdeyam Foundation

Hirdeyam Foundation is located over in West Delhi, specifically in Village Basai Darapur. We are on the ground floor of Plot No. 499, which is part of Block WZ. It is a bit of a maze back here if you are not used to the layout of these village streets. The address is K.H. No.698, and being on the ground level helps since people are always coming and going throughout the day. We started out in this spot because the space was available and it puts us right where the community lives. It is a regular building, nothing that stands out too much from the neighboring houses. On any given day, you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood, like kids playing outside or someone’s motorbike starting up nearby. We spend a lot of time just sitting at the table organizing our records. The light in the office is not the brightest, but it works fine for what we need to do. Basai Darapur has a lot of history and the people around here are mostly just working hard to get by. We try to keep our doors open so folks know where to find us if they ever need to talk. Sometimes the traffic in West Delhi makes getting here a real headache, but once you are inside, it is quiet enough. We have a few files, some old furniture, and plenty of work to keep us busy all week. It is just a simple, practical setup for the foundation.
