We are tucked away in the K- 37 block of the Udyog Nagar Industrial Area in Peeragarhi. It is an industrial neighborhood, so you should expect a lot of noise and big trucks moving around all day. We spend our days surrounded by heavy fabric and sewing machines. Making bags is what we do, and we have been doing it in this same spot for a very long time now. The floor is usually covered in little scraps of thread and small offcuts of material. We do not mind the mess much because it means we are actually getting things done for our customers. It is a sturdy building, though it gets quite hot in the summer months when the sun is out. We have a few big fans going, but you still feel the heat when you are working. Most of the staff live nearby, so we are a local bunch who know the area well. We do not have a front desk or anyone to greet you with a cup of coffee. Usually, you just walk in and find someone working near the back of the shop. We make all sorts of bags, from very simple ones to more complicated designs with lots of pockets. It is a lot of manual work and checking the stitching on every piece. We try to keep things moving so the orders do not pile up too high. The industrial area is not the prettiest place to look at, but it is where we belong.
