Being in Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase I means we are surrounded by the sound of machinery and heavy trucks all day. Our building is B 8/1, right on the main road. It’s a gritty part of town, full of grease and hard work. You can’t really avoid the dust here, so we’ve stopped trying to keep everything spotless. The warehouse is the biggest part of our space. It’s filled with materials and things waiting to be moved out. We have a small office section partitioned off where we handle the orders and talk to suppliers. The desks are metal and have been around since the company started. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. Most of us are in sturdy clothes that can handle a bit of dirt. The chai wallah comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. The main road is always jammed with lorries, so getting in and out takes some patience. We’ve grown used to the constant hum of the industrial zone. It’s a tough environment, but there’s a sense of community among the businesses on this strip. We know the guys at the workshops next door. There are no fancy signs or bright lights here. We just do our work, load the trucks, and keep the wheels turning. It’s honest, loud, and busy every single day.
