Gupta Motor Parts

Our shop is over at the Transport Centre in Punjabi Bagh, right in Mini Market at Shop No 14. Being near a transport hub means we see a lot of heavy vehicles and drivers who are far from home. We deal in motor parts, so our day is mostly about finding the right component for someone whose truck or car has broken down nearby. The market is always buzzing with activity and the smell of diesel. Our shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the boxes. Most of the time, the counter is covered with catalogs or parts we are showing to a customer. We don't really do much in the way of decoration; the parts themselves are the main thing you see. It can get pretty loud with all the engines running nearby, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We know most of the other shop owners in the Mini Market and we often help each other out if someone is short on a particular item. It is a tight community of people just trying to make a living. We have a small kettle in the back for making tea when there is a break in the rush. Customers usually want things done fast because they have schedules to keep. We understand that and try to find what they need without wasting a lot of time.
