Goyal Pet Clinic And Surgical Centre

Our pet clinic is tucked into the Meera Apartment complex in Paschim Vihar, right near Sehgal Hospital. It’s a bit of a different vibe here compared to the human hospitals nearby. On any given afternoon, you might hear a dog barking in the waiting room or a cat meowing from a carrier. The space is practical because we do surgeries here too. We have a couple of exam tables that we have to wipe down constantly. Pets get nervous, so they sometimes make a mess on the floor, which we just clean up and keep going. The walls are mostly bare, except for some notices about vaccinations. It’s a local spot where neighbors bring their puppies for their first shots or older dogs who are having trouble walking. We have a small area for surgical tools and the lights in there are very bright. Being inside an apartment block means we see a lot of the same faces from around the area. Sometimes people just stop by to ask a quick question about their bird or rabbit. It gets quite loud when there are three or four different animals in the lobby at once. The smell of disinfectant is pretty strong, but you get used to it after a while. We stay busy with the schedules and try to make sure every animal gets handled as gently as we can manage.
