Glowmac

Glowmac is up on the second floor of a building in Tilak Nagar which is a very busy part of New Delhi. You have to walk up some narrow stairs to find us but once you’re inside it’s a bit of a haven from the chaos of the market outside. We have been here at 14/19 for a good while and we know the other shop owners on the street pretty well. The space is filled with desks and a fair amount of inventory tucked into the corners. It’s a bit cluttered if we are being honest but we know where everything is. We spend most of the day on the phone or working on the computer while the sounds of the street vendors and car horns drift up through the windows. New Delhi can be a tough place to work because of the noise and the crowds but we like the energy of Tilak Nagar. There is always something happening right outside our door. We don't have a big corporate HR department or a fancy break room. We just have a small kitchen area where we make tea and a few chairs for visitors. It’s a basic operation run by people who live nearby and just want to do a decent day’s work without any drama. We try to keep things moving and handle whatever comes our way each morning without any unnecessary stress or fuss.
