Global Automotive Components

So, we have been operating out of B-102/B for a while now. It is not a flashy spot, just a solid place where we get the work done every morning. When you walk into Global Automotive Components, you will mostly hear the sound of the machines running and the guys moving crates around. We handle a lot of different car parts here. Sometimes the floor is a bit messy because we are right in the middle of a big run, but that is just how it goes when you are actually making things. It started out much smaller, but over time we just kept adding more equipment. Most of us here have been doing this for years, so we know the smell of cutting oil and metal shavings pretty well. We are not big on fancy meetings or long emails. If an order comes in, we look at the specs and start the machines. It is pretty straightforward. Some days the heat in the shop gets a bit much, especially in the summer months, but we keep the fans going and stay on schedule. We focus on the pieces we are making and try to make sure everything fits like it is supposed to before it goes into a box. It is honest work, and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Usually, by the time five o'clock rolls around, everyone is ready to head home and wash the grease off their hands. We like it that way.
