Geo Tec International

Geo Tec International is based at 3245 Ranjit Nagar, right in the South Patel Nagar area of New Delhi. It’s a crowded spot, like most of Delhi. Our office is tucked away, and it can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't looking for the number. We’ve got a small team here. The walls are painted a dull white and there are wires running along the ceiling for the lights and fans. We do a lot of technical work related to geography and maps. It gets pretty loud outside with the traffic and the street vendors, but we just shut the windows and keep working. We aren't a big international corporation with thousands of employees. We are just a few people in a small room in Patel Nagar. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back. It’s just part of life here. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture. Our chairs are a bit old but they are comfortable enough for an eight-hour shift. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or talking about project deadlines. We try to keep things simple. No one wears a suit here. We just show up in our regular clothes and do the work that’s assigned to us. We’ve been in this spot for several years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It’s our little corner of Delhi.
