Gaushiya Social Welfare Foundation

You can find us at House Number 2 in the Dharamveer Market area of Budh Vihar. It is over in Badarpur. We are on the second floor. The market is usually pretty crowded, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. Gaushiya Social Welfare Foundation is basically just a few of us in a small space. We have been in Badarpur for a bit now, and we know the neighborhood well. It is a working-class area, and we like it that way. Our office doesn't have fancy decorations. We have some plastic chairs for visitors and a few old desks we’ve had since the start. We mostly just focus on social welfare tasks that come our way. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but we just keep going. It is a very hands-on kind of environment. We don't use big words or pretend to be something we aren't. We just work. People from around the market stop by to chat or ask questions. We try to be helpful when we can. It’s a bit messy sometimes with all the files and papers, but we know where everything is. We are just regular people in a regular office in Badarpur, doing what we think is right for the folks around here. It is not always easy, but we are here every day at Dharamveer.
