Ganpati Paints & Hardware Store

We’ve been running Ganpati Paints & Hardware Store at the DDA Flats in Uttam Nagar for a good while now. It’s a busy little corner near Vishu Vihar, especially in the mornings when people are heading out. Our shop at V-61 is pretty packed with all sorts of things, from heavy-duty hammers to different shades of distemper. Most of the time, the aisles are a bit narrow because we have to fit so much inventory into a small space. We don’t have a fancy display or a big reception area. Usually, you’ll just find one of us behind the counter or moving boxes around. Residents from the DDA flats often drop by when a tap starts leaking or they want to freshen up their living room walls. We keep a stock of basic electrical stuff too, like bulbs and switches, because someone always needs a replacement. It gets a bit dusty with all the construction materials around, but that’s just how hardware stores are. We know the regulars who live in the block and often chat about the local news while they wait for their paint to be mixed. It’s a simple business. We don’t do any big promotions or anything like that. People just know we’re here if they need a specific screw or a liter of primer. Sometimes we have to hunt for things in the back, but we usually find what the customer is looking for eventually. It’s just us doing our daily work in Uttam Nagar.
