Finding us on the second floor of the building in Punjabi Bagh can be a little tricky if you aren't looking closely for the A7C address. This part of New Delhi, Paschempure, is usually buzzing with people. We have been operating out of this space for a while now. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow, so we have to watch our step when carrying supplies up. Once you get inside, it’s a typical workspace with desks pushed together and a lot of folders stacked up. We try to keep things organized, but on busy weeks, the paperwork tends to take over the tables. The windows look out over the street, so we see the traffic moving along all day. It’s not the biggest office, but it holds everyone we need. We usually start quite early, getting the coffee going before the phone calls start coming in from the different project sites. The air conditioner works hard in the humid months, and we just try to keep things moving. There is a lot of back and forth between the staff here. We don't really do formal meetings; we mostly just talk across the room to solve whatever issue popped up that morning. It’s a busy atmosphere, but everyone knows their role. It’s just a group of people trying to keep things on track from this little corner of the city.
