Future Trading Co. operates out of Raghubir Nagar. Our address is a bit of a mouthful, Flat No. B58C on the second floor of the Slum Janta area. We are very close to the Central School, which is the easiest way to tell people where to go. During the morning and afternoon, the area gets really packed with parents and students, so the noise levels go up quite a bit. Our office is a small second-floor space where we handle all our trading work. It is filled with stacks of ledgers and a couple of computers that have seen better days but still work fine. The stairs up to the flat are a bit steep, so we usually just stay put once we get in for the morning. Raghubir Nagar is a busy, working-class part of the city, and we fit right in with the hustle and bustle. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. There are coats hanging on the back of chairs and half-empty water bottles on the tables. We don't worry too much about having everything perfectly lined up as long as we can find what we need to get the job done. It’s a practical environment for people who are used to working hard. Sometimes we have to move boxes around just to find a place to sit and eat lunch. It’s just how things are when you’re running a small trading business in a busy neighborhood.
