Our factory is at C-147 in Mayapuri, Phase-Ii. This part of the city is nothing but industry, so it’s always loud and smells like metal and oil. We specialize in making locks and various types of door hardware. It’s a lot of heavy machinery and people working at benches. We’ve been at this for quite a few years now. The floor is concrete and always seems to have a thin layer of metal shavings on it no matter how much we sweep up. We don't spend much money on making the place look nice because it’s a factory, not a mall. The focus is just on the machines and making sure the assembly line doesn't get stuck. We have a small team, and most of the guys have been with us since the start. We eat lunch together in the small break area near the back door. Sometimes we have issues with the old wiring in this building, but we manage to keep things running. It’s a lot of repetitive work, clicking pieces together and testing the springs in the locks. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just make the locks, pack them into boxes, and send them out to the distributors. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes people stop by looking for a single replacement part, and we usually just find them something in the bin if we have it laying around.
