Faizan Readymade & Fabrics (Opc) Private Limited

Our shop is on the ground floor at H.No.B-14/82, Plot No.4, over in Kabir Nagar. It’s right near the Samshan Ghat, so it’s a landmark everyone around here knows. Faizan Readymade & Fabrics is a one-person company on paper, but there’s usually a couple of us around helping out. We deal with all sorts of clothes and unstitched fabrics. The space is a bit tucked away, but we like it that way because it stays a bit quieter than the main roads. We spend a lot of time measuring cloth and talking to people who come in looking for something specific. It’s a simple setup—just some shelves, a desk, and a lot of fabric. Kabir Nagar is a working-class area and we fit right in. We aren't trying to be some high-end boutique. We just want to provide good cloth at a price that makes sense for the people living nearby. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, but we just sweep it out and keep going. It’s hard work running a small place like this, but it’s our own. We don’t have a website or anything fancy; we just open the doors in the morning and see who comes by. It’s been a learning process, figuring out what people want, but we’re getting the hang of it. We have a small stool for customers to sit on, but most people just stand.
