If you look for us in Karampura, we are right near the E Block Gurudwara. You can often hear the prayers and music while we’re working at our desks in F-65. It gives the place a calm feel despite the busy, narrow streets right outside the door. We’ve been in this part of New Delhi for a long time. The office is usually full of maps and old photos of finished sites. We deal with a lot of different construction jobs. Some are big projects and some are just small fixes. Our team is a mix of old-timers who have been here forever and a few newer faces. We spend a lot of time on the phone with site supervisors. There is always a shortage of something, like sand or specific bricks, and we have to hunt it down. Karampura is a tight-knit area where everyone knows each other. We know the local tea stall guy really well. He brings us rounds of hot chai throughout the day. It’s a messy job sometimes, with all the dust and the heavy boots everywhere. We don’t mind the mess. It’s just part of what we do. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place to get the daily work organized. We try to keep things moving. Problems come up constantly, we fix them, and then we move on to the next task. That is the daily grind for us here.
