You can find us at 31 New Market in the West Patel Nagar area. Being right in the market means there is always a lot of noise and movement just outside the door. We are right in the thick of it. The clinic is a small room on the ground level of the building. We have a glass door that lets you see everything happening on the street. Inside, it is a little more peaceful than the sidewalk. Dr. Ravinder Kumar sees his patients one after the other. I sit at a small wooden table near the entrance. We still use a lot of paper notebooks to keep track of names and appointment dates. It is an old-fashioned way of doing things, but it works perfectly for us. The walls have a couple of posters about basic health, though they have faded a bit from the sun hitting them. The chairs for waiting are made of plastic so they are easy to move around. We get a mix of different people—shoppers from the market, local residents, and people who work in the nearby stalls. Sometimes it gets so busy that people have to wait outside on the pavement for a few minutes. West Patel Nagar is a crowded place, so we are used to the tight squeeze. The address is central and easy to get to. We do not offer anything fancy, just a place to get checked when you are not feeling well.
