Dr. Krishan Lal Eye Clinic

Started the clinic here in Sunder Vihar a while back. It is tucked in behind the Sunder Vihar Gurudwara, so you might hear the morning prayers if you arrive early enough. Being near Meera Bagh means there is usually a fair amount of traffic on the main road, but once you turn into 8/290, things get a bit quieter. The office isn't anything fancy, just a couple of rooms where we look at eyes and figure out why someone’s vision is getting blurry. We have some chairs out front for waiting, though they fill up fast on Monday mornings when everyone realizes they need new glasses. The walls are painted a light color that seemed like a good idea at the time, even if the corners need a bit of a touch-up now. Most people find us because they live right here in Paschim Vihar and don't want to travel across the city for a simple checkup. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure the light is just right for the exams. It’s a busy spot, especially when the schools let out and the local kids come by. Sometimes the fans run all day long when the Delhi heat gets to be too much. We just keep the files organized and see who comes through the door. It is a simple place where we do our work and go home.
