Dr. Jain Clinic

Our clinic is over at C-20-A in New Krishna Park, right in the Vikaspuri area. It’s a busy part of town, so there are always people moving about and cars honking on the street. Finding us is usually easy once you get into New Krishna Park. The clinic is on the ground floor, so you just walk right in. We have a small waiting room with some blue plastic chairs that have seen better days. The walls are a bit bare, except for a calendar and a clock that ticks quite loudly. Most of the time, the room is filled with the sound of the ceiling fan and the muffled noise from the street outside. We keep our records in a set of metal cabinets in the corner. It’s not a very fancy setup, but it’s practical for what we do every day. We usually start the morning by sweeping the front step and getting the water filter ready. The doctor spends most of the time in the inner room, while the rest of us handle the people coming in. We see a lot of the same neighbors from around Vikaspuri coming in for their checkups. It’s a small, tight-knit kind of place where everyone knows the routine. Sometimes we run out of chairs when it gets crowded, and people just stand by the door. We don't have any big mission statements or glossy brochures. We just show up at the New Krishna Park location and do our jobs until it’s time to close up.
