Dr. Care

Our place, Dr. Care, is up on the first floor of the National Market in Peera Garhi. It’s a busy spot, No. 487/64 to be exact. If you know the market, you know it’s always crowded with people shopping and traffic moving outside. We have a small waiting area with some chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they serve the purpose. The walls are a plain off-white and we have a few health posters up. It isn't a high-end medical center with marble floors. It’s just a practical space where people come when they aren't feeling well or need a quick check-up. We spend our time listening to people talk about their aches and pains and trying to figure out the best way to help them. The phone rings a lot with people asking for appointments or checking if their test results are back. It can get a bit loud with the noise from the market filtering up through the windows. We try to keep things moving so people don't have to wait too long, but sometimes things take more time than expected. There’s no big corporate board here, just us doing our jobs every day. We handle the prescriptions, the basic exams, and the paperwork. It’s a simple setup meant for the local people in Peera Garhi who just need someone to look at a problem and give them a straight answer without any fuss.
