Double Diamond Impex House Private Limited is over in G-2C, New Tilak Vihar, near Tilak Nagar in West Delhi. It’s a residential pocket but we have our office setup there on the ground floor. We handle a lot of import and export work, which basically means we are always dealing with transporters and customs agents. It’s a lot of back and forth. The office is pretty simple. We have a couple of computers and a lot of shelf space for all the records we have to keep. Tilak Vihar is a bit more tucked away than the main Tilak Nagar market, so it’s a little quieter, which is nice when we have to concentrate on complicated forms. We aren't a massive company with a huge marketing budget. We just rely on the work we do and the people we know. Sometimes we have to stay late to talk to people in different time zones, but that’s just the nature of the impex business. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. We’ve been here for some time now and the neighbors know us. We don’t have any fancy mission statements; we just want to get the goods delivered and keep the business running for another year. It’s practical, everyday work. We try our best to keep things organized, even when it gets hectic with multiple shipments arriving at once. We like the local feel of being here in Tilak Vihar.
