We are tucked away at A-9 in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase II. If you know the area, you know it’s a busy maze of workshops and small factories. Our building is nothing special to look at from the outside, just a plain front with a heavy door. Inside, though, it’s a hive of activity. We deal with a lot of international stuff, so the clocks on the wall used to be set to different times, though now we just check our phones. There’s a lot of shouting across the room to ask about a specific file or a missing pen. We keep a lot of records, so there are filing cabinets lining almost every wall. The floor is a bit uneven in spots, and we’ve had to put a piece of folded paper under one of the table legs to keep it from wobbling. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out some of the clatter from the street. It’s a tight-knit group here; we know each other's families and what everyone likes for lunch. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy showroom; we just want to get the orders processed and the day finished. It's honest work in a loud part of the city, and we have been doing it this way for a long time without much change. The tea here is always strong.
