We’ve been at 46-B Pocket Ii for a while now. Most people around Paschim Puri know the spot because we've been here for years. It’s just a regular place where we get things done. It isn't anything fancy, just a desk and some storage. Devco Mercantile started because we saw a need for what we do in this neighborhood. My brother and I usually open up early to get a head start. Some days are busier than others, especially when shipments come in. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the small table we have. Dealing with local suppliers takes up most of our morning. Then in the afternoon, we sort through orders. Paschim Puri is a crowded area, so parking is always a headache near the office. We've thought about moving but we like the neighbors too much. It's home. You can find us near the main gate of the pocket. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one on the door that sometimes falls off. It’s quiet inside usually, unless the phone is ringing off the hook. We just focus on getting the tasks finished by five so we can beat the traffic. It’s a simple setup. Nothing more to it. We just handle the mercantile side of things and try to stay on top of the list. If you stop by, you'll probably see us drinking tea and looking at spreadsheets. It's just how we run things here in this small corner of the city. We don't need much more.
