Deubathh Welfare Foundation

Our office is tucked away in West Delhi at WZ-119 in Gurunanak Nagar. We are specifically on the third floor, which you reach by going down Gali Number 2. It’s a typical Delhi street, usually pretty narrow and full of life, so you have to watch where you're walking. Being on the 3rd/F means we have a bit of a view of the neighborhood rooftops, though it gets quite warm in the summer months. We handle all the welfare foundation work from this spot. It’s mostly just us sitting around the desks, sorting through applications and talking to people who stop by. The stairs are a little steep, so we usually just stay up here once we arrive in the morning. Gurunanak Nagar is a crowded area, but it feels like a real community. We aren't a big organization with a shiny lobby; we just have our office space where we keep the records and meet with the families we assist. Sometimes the power goes out or the street gets blocked by a delivery truck, but that’s just part of being in this part of New Delhi. We've been here for a while now and most of the neighbors know who we are. It’s a simple setup for the Deubathh Welfare Foundation, and it suits the kind of practical work we do every day for the people around here.
