Designer World

Over at Uttam Vihar 183, in the Q Extension of Uttam Nagar, you’ll find Designer World. Despite the name, we aren't some high-end studio with mood lighting and expensive chairs. We are a small shop that handles a lot of different things. The space is usually a bit messy with materials and samples scattered around, but that is how we like it. It shows we are actually doing something. Uttam Nagar is always moving, always loud, and we are right in the thick of it. We’ve been at this 183 address for quite some time now. Some of the locals stop in just to ask questions or see what we are working on. We try to be helpful without making a big deal out of it. There is no big corporate structure here; it’s just us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but we just pick up where we left off. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of our business comes from the people who walk past or live in the neighborhood. We keep things simple and try to make sure everything we put out is decent. If you need to find us, just look for the shop with the busy windows. We are usually there from morning until late evening, even on Saturdays when things get really crowded.
