Design Shapers

We started Design Shapers right here in Vikaspuri quite some time back. Our spot is at number 17, over in DG 3, which most people around here know pretty well. It’s not a big fancy place, just where we sit down and figure out how to make rooms look a bit better. Sometimes people come in with just a rough idea written on a scrap of paper, and we try to turn that into something real. Working in Delhi means dealing with a lot of dust and noise, especially when the actual work starts on site. We spend a lot of our days talking to carpenters and painters, making sure they actually show up when they say they will. It’s hard work and honestly, it gets pretty stressful when deadlines are tight or a specific material isn't available at the local market. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to handle a tape measure and a laptop. If you walk past our office, you’ll probably see a lot of samples lying around and maybe some coffee cups. We just focus on getting the job done for folks in the neighborhood without making things too complicated. Every house is different, so we just take it one project at a time. It’s mostly about making sure the cupboards fit and the colors don’t look weird under the lights. We’ve had our share of long nights here in the office.
