Ddu4Care Seva Foundation

Ddu4Care Seva Foundation is tucked away in Basai Darapur village, specifically at House No 80. If you know the area, you know Kh.No. 698 is where we are, up on the second floor of Block-Wz. It’s one of those old village areas that’s now part of the city, so the streets are a bit of a maze sometimes. We’ve been working from this floor for a bit now. It’s not a corporate office with glass walls or anything. It’s more like a regular house where we’ve set up some tables and files. Basai Darapur is a busy spot with lots of families who have lived here for generations. We mostly focus on helping out the people right here in our backyard. Sometimes we’re helping kids with school stuff, other times it’s just helping an elderly neighbor navigate some paperwork. Being on the second floor means we get a bit of a breeze, which is nice in the summer. We don’t have a fancy receptionist. Usually, you just walk up the stairs and someone will be there to talk. We started this because we felt like someone should be doing this work in our own community instead of waiting for someone else to show up. It’s basic work, nothing flashy. We use simple tools and spend a lot of time just listening to what people need. It’s a local thing, run by people who live nearby. It can get noisy outside with the village life, but we like it here.
