Daayitva Social Welfare Foundation

Daayitva Social Welfare Foundation is based in Vasant Kunj. We are in Sector C, Pocket 9, at house number 9357. Vasant Kunj is a large area with lots of blocks and pockets, so it can be easy to get lost if you don’t know the way. Our office is basically a converted apartment. It feels like a home because it used to be one. We have a kitchen area where we make our own coffee and a living room that serves as our main meeting space. It’s a relaxed environment. We don’t wear suits or follow a strict corporate calendar. We just work on what’s important. The neighborhood is full of parks and monkeys, which sometimes make a mess of the balconies. We’ve been in this pocket for a while now. Most of our neighbors know who we are. We don’t spend money on big ads or fancy signs. We just do the work the foundation is supposed to do. It’s a simple setup. We have a few laptops, some chairs that don’t quite match, and a lot of passion for our daily tasks. We don’t try to sound like a big international organization. We’re just a local foundation in South West Delhi doing our best with what we have. It’s a quiet life, but we keep busy enough.
