Chabhi Lal Painter

I am Chabhi Lal and I run this small painting place in Nangloi. We are right over at Fz 73 in Laxmi Park, not too far from Tau Chowk. It is just a small setup we have here. People around the neighborhood usually know where to find us if their house needs a fresh coat. I started Chabhi Lal Painter because I like working with my hands and seeing a room look different after a day of work. It is mostly just me and a few others. We show up with our ladders and tins of paint. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we manage. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have brushes and rollers sitting around. Usually, someone is there if you walk by Tau Chowk and head towards our street. Dealing with paint is messy work, but it pays the bills. We have been in this part of Laxmi Park for a while now and we have seen the neighborhood grow quite a bit over the years. Most days are busy, but some are quiet. We don't do anything too complicated, just standard painting for homes or small shops nearby. If the walls are peeling or just look old, that is what we deal with. It is honest work and we try to do it right the first time so we don't have to come back and fix things later. We keep things low-key and just focus on the job at hand.
