If you are looking for Century-Overseas, you have to head to the back side of B-7 in Anand Vihar. Uttam Nagar is one of those places that is always moving, and being in the back side of the building gives us a little bit of a shield from the direct noise of the main road. It’s a bit of a maze to get here if it’s your first time, but we like the privacy it offers. The office itself is quite plain, with whitewashed walls and simple furniture that we’ve moved around a dozen times to make everything fit. We spend most of our day handling the bits and pieces of the business that people don't usually see. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the details are right. Because we are in the back, the lighting isn't always the brightest, so we have plenty of lamps around to keep the place feeling warm. We’ve got a small kettle for making tea, and that’s usually running all day long because we drink a lot of it while we work. The neighborhood is full of energy, and you can always find whatever you need just a short walk away. It’s not a corporate showroom; it’s just a place where a few people work hard to keep things moving forward. We don't worry about being fancy, we just worry about getting the day's work finished so we can beat the evening traffic in Uttam Nagar.
