Carlmecus Interior

You can find us at Wz-30 on the first floor in Assalatpur, which is part of Janakpuri. Carlmecus Interior is a small operation. We focus on the inside of houses and offices. It’s mostly just a few of us here trying to keep up with the work. The office isn't anything special, just a place to keep our samples and meet with people. We do a lot of the measuring and the planning right there on the spot. Janakpuri is where we live and work, so we know the area pretty well. Sometimes we’re out all day looking for the right kind of tile or talking to electricians about a wiring problem. We don’t really do the whole corporate thing. If a job is going to take two weeks, we say it'll take two weeks. We try to be honest about what can be done with the budget someone has. It's a lot of practical stuff—checking if a door swings the right way or if there's enough light in a hallway. We deal with the usual mess of renovations, like dust and noise and things not arriving when they should. We just push through it. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Delhi. We just want to do a decent job so people don't have to worry about their interiors falling apart. It's just us doing our thing every day, one room at a time.
