You can find Bharat Ayurvedic Clinic over in 843 Block A, Jwalapuri. We’ve been operating out of this spot in Nangloi for quite some time now. It’s a small clinic, mostly just a couple of rooms where we keep our herbs and oils. The smell of sandalwood and neem is usually pretty strong as soon as you walk in. Most people who come here are looking for something different than the usual pills you get at the big pharmacies. We spend a lot of time grinding things up and mixing different preparations. It’s a bit of a slow process, but that’s just how it goes with this kind of work. The neighborhood is always noisy, so we try to keep the inside as calm as we can. We don't have a big sign, just a simple one on the door so people know they’re at the right place in Block A. A lot of our visitors are older folks from Jwalapuri who have been coming to see us for years. They usually sit and chat for a bit before getting their herbs. We don’t have a computer system for appointments; we just write things down in a big ledger. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it’s worked for us so far. We’re just here every day from morning until evening, trying to help people feel a bit better using the old ways that we have learned. It takes patience, but it helps.
