You can find us at 69/6A on Najafgarh Road, right in the Kirti Nagar Industrial Area. Bhagwati Auto Industries is basically a place where we make parts for cars and trucks. It’s a noisy, metallic environment where the sound of lathes and presses never really stops until the lights go out at night. We’ve been here for years, watching the traffic on Najafgarh Road get worse and worse while we just keep producing our parts. The floor is usually covered in a thin layer of oil and metal shavings, which is just part of the job. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls. We just have a schedule of what needs to be made by Friday. Most of us wear overalls that have seen better days, and we spend our breaks sitting on crates outside to catch a bit of a breeze. It’s hard work, especially when the machines act up or the power fluctuates. But we know our way around the metal and how to get the dimensions exactly right. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny office; we’d rather spend that money on better tools or maintaining the equipment we have. It’s a practical, local business. People who need auto components know they can just come by and talk to us. We’re just regular people doing a regular job, day in and day out.
