Batra Eye Clinic

You can find us at 5/2 Prem Nagar in Janakpuri. This area gets a bit confusing with the streets, but we are near Tughlakabad too. Batra Eye Clinic is just a small place on the ground floor. We spend most of our time looking at eyes and helping people pick out frames if they need them. It’s nothing too complicated. We have the usual charts on the wall and the machine for testing. The lighting in here is kept a bit dim because it’s better for the exams, so it stays cool even when it’s burning up outside. People walk in with blurry vision or itchy eyes and we see what we can do. Janakpuri is a crowded place, so there is always someone passing by the window. We’ve got some old chairs for people to sit on while they wait. We don't really have a schedule that is set in stone; if we are here and the lights are on, we will help you. We get a lot of older folks from Prem Nagar who have been coming to us for years. They like to sit and talk for a bit even after we finish. It makes the day go by faster. We aren't a big hospital, just a local eye spot where we know the people and they know us. We keep things moving as best as we can.
