Bagga Nursing Home & Maternity Hospital

Our nursing home is at number 332, right across from the Main Outer Ring Road. Being near the HDFC Bank makes it easy for people to find us in Meera Bagh. The noise from the Ring Road is something you just learn to live with, a constant hum of cars and trucks going by at all hours. Since we handle maternity, there is often the sound of babies crying, which we are all very used to by now. The building has several rooms for the mothers and their families to stay in. We spend a lot of time walking the hallways, checking on everyone and making sure the beds are made up properly. The kitchen area is small, but it works for making tea and simple meals for the staff. We have a lot of night shifts here, so the lights never really go out completely. The reception desk is usually piled with forms and registers that need to be filled out by hand. It can get pretty hectic when a few people arrive at once, but we just take it one person at a time. The windows are thick to help with the street noise, but you can still feel the vibration of the heavy trucks sometimes. It is a busy place, but we have a good routine down after all these years in Meera Bagh. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing for the families.
