Babulal Dangi

Babulal Dangi is located on the ground floor at T-270 in Patel Nagar, over in the Baljeet Nagar section. It’s a crowded neighborhood where the houses are close together and there is always someone walking past the window. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of the local life right outside our door. Sometimes the neighbors’ cats wander in if we leave the door open too long. The office itself is quite small and we have to be careful about how we stack the boxes and files so we don’t run out of room to walk. We have a couple of old desks and a phone that never seems to stop ringing at certain hours. It’s a bit of a scramble to keep everything in order, but we managed to make it work over the years. We don’t have a big sign out front, just the number on the door that people look for. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the street vendors calling out their wares while you are trying to finish up a report. It’s lived-in and comfortable in its own way. We don't worry about having the newest furniture or fancy rugs. We just care about getting the daily tasks done and being fair with the people who come to see us. It’s a basic, functional spot in a busy part of town.
