You can find Babu Mutton & Chicken Shop over at 298 Hari Nagar on Jail Road. It’s a pretty busy stretch of road, so there’s always cars honking and people moving about. We’ve been here for a good while, serving the folks around Hari Nagar. The shop isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We spend most of our time prepping the mutton and chicken for the day. It’s a lot of manual work, chopping and cleaning, but that’s how it goes. The floor stays wet and we’re always busy with something. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the trade well. Most people stop by on their way home from work because we’re right there on the main route. We don't have a website or anything like that. If you want something, you just come by and ask. We’ve seen shops come and go on Jail Road, but we’ve managed to stay put. The noise from the traffic is constant, but you get used to it after a week. It’s an honest living and we are glad that people keep coming back. We keep it simple here. No bells and whistles, just fresh meat and a bit of conversation if it's not too busy. It is just a local spot that has become part of the daily routine for many.
