Our place, Aurangabad Electrical Pvt. Ltd., is out in M.I.D.C. Waluj at plot M-135/136. If you’ve ever spent time in Waluj, you know it’s just rows and rows of factories and lots of people on bikes commuting every morning. We are right in the middle of all that activity. We handle electrical components, which means there’s a lot of focus on small parts and assembly lines. It’s a busy environment where everyone has a specific job to do. The floor is usually humming with the sound of the line moving. We don't spend much time in meetings talking about visions or missions. Instead, we’re usually checking the inventory or making sure the latest batch of parts is ready for shipping. The office part of the building is small and mostly filled with ledgers and old files. It can get pretty loud during the day, but that’s just how an industrial area works. We’ve been at this for a while now, and we’ve seen the M.I.D.C. grow around us. We aren't a massive corporation with a glass building; we are just a team of people who know how to put electrical stuff together. It’s a lot of hard work and staying late when a big order comes in. We don't try to sound more important than we are. We just make the parts and keep the lights on. It is a long day every day, but we get it done.
