Ashoka Group

Ashoka Group is located in the Mayapuri Industrial Area. We are at A-15 in Phase-1. If you know Mayapuri, you know it’s a busy place with a lot of noise and trucks going in and out. We’ve been here for a long time. Our building is a bit old, but it holds everything we need for the work. We do a variety of things under the Ashoka Group name. It’s mostly industrial work. We have workers coming in shifts throughout the day. The floor is concrete and there is always something being moved around by the guys. It's not the kind of place you wear nice clothes to. We get grease on our hands and dust on our shoes every day. That’s just the way it is in Phase-1. We have our offices upstairs where it’s a bit quieter than the floor. We handle the paperwork and the phone calls there. We don't use big words to describe ourselves or what we do. We are just a group of people working in Mayapuri. We’ve seen the industrial area change, but A-15 stays pretty much the same. We have our routine. The tea man comes by in the afternoon and we take a quick break. We talk about the day's work and what needs to be finished by the end of the week. It’s steady and it's what we do. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just trying to do the job right and keep going.
